Hazards of Abandoned spur line

Trains! It isn't an option. The easiest way to get there is via an active rail line.

Completely guessing here: Looks as though when the nearby power distribution centre was built parts must have been brought in via rail, which was then disconnected from the main line and abandoned. you can see evidence of the old rail line on Google Maps.

This could probably be made a LV1 as well. It has nothing to vandalize or steal really. Nothing to protect here.

I was more worried about people having to walk the rail lines, trains out of town get up to speed on that stretch and you need to keep your eyes and ears open

Alright. Rail walking is pretty standard and not risky compared to many things we do. Many locations are accessed by rail. Robson Lang being one that I recently made a LV1. Your call, but eventually it will prolly get bumped down. You only are in harms way if you are walking in the middle of it too. Walk the side of any rail, your fine. Tunnels tho, are different. If you write trains are the hazard, then its not your issue if people dont read. This is why I type as much relevant info as I can, and if its not read, I did my bit.

I would guess that that power distribution center is kinda newish. So I wonder what was there before I wonder. It could be that they used it, but its well overgrown. I know of a few other spurs around. All over actually if ya look.

Cambridge and Guelph have a lot more rail infrastructure, too. Gotta take what you can get in KW
