The Basin Depot cabin is the oldest standing building in Algonquin Park today. Constructed in 1892.
About this location
Went to see the cabin in Sept 2022 it was getting a new roof at the time!! I have read there is a Cemetery near the cabin but we didn't have any luck finding it!

Changed Status to "Historic Location" as it is certianly not abandoned if they slapped a new roof on it and have all this signage in it. Neat cabin. Pretty well preserved for the age.
