At the time I checked this out workers were all over (at least 10-15) walking in and out the house and outbuildings and back and fourth from shallow taped off holes being dug. From what I was told this is a standard in this part of the city to do an archaeological survey due to the high chances of finding indigenous peoples artifacts. I am unsure of they found anything.
built 1860s by James Goodfellow. He has a page on Waterloo Region Generations, easy enough to find.

I heard there was a fire here one morning. we drove past a couple of days ago and now the stone sidings remain and it’s fenced off. I’m not sure if it was arson or deliberately done.
