History of Hamlet of Kirkcaldy

Unfortunately I was not able to find detailed history about Kirkcaldy, other than it being named after the town of Kirkcaldy in Scotland. The population in 2007 was 12; I would assume that it has since decreased.

There isn't anything too noteworthy about Kirkcaldy. The most notable things would be the old general store called Mallory and Carnegie, and the Kirkcaldy School which was also used as a community hall.
