This is the same story you've heard a dozen times. The developer buys up suburban property to develop condos, the development goes bust, the property decays, and we explore. In this case, the house was acquired for development in 2019. An application was submitted but, in 2021, plans fell through. As of 2024, a new developer has picked up the project, but there's no way to tell if they'll follow through.
This house sits on a MASSIVE lot. The two adjacent properties were demolished in 2019 leaving a large amount of vacant land. It also has an incredibly deep backyard, stretching all the way to the GECO Spur. The house and garage both show signs of decay, with evidence of a squatter visible.
