History of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 at 9 Dawes Rd, Toronto, was established in the late 1920s as part of the East Toronto Veterans Memorial Hall Association. Over the years, it served as a community hub and a place for veterans to gather and support each other. The branch was active in various community services and events, including supporting veterans, educational programs, and local organizations.

In 2019, the branch building was closed and demolished to make way for a new condominium development. However, the Legion continues to operate from a temporary location while plans are underway for a new space.

This is a two story building with a basement. Cameras along the outside of the building. There's multiple stairways but only one of them had an unlocked door to the top floor. This also had open rooftop acces in one of the stairs, I can't believe we forgot to go at the end. Easy to get in, front door was open, but its kinda jammed so you gotta give it a good push.
