Grierson House

Demolished House in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

Location # 2094

I came across this gem a few years ago. It sat on the north side of Conlin Road just west of where it meets Wilson Road. In 1877, the property is listed as belonging to GH Grierson, though it is highly unlikely he occupied the home. The 1871 census lists his occupation as "gentleman" and the dwelling hardly looks like one that would be occupied by someone of that status. Unfortunately, the house has since been torn down.
