I can see why these houses would be a developer's dream. A total of six boarded houses, each on massive plots of land with backyards that extend approximately 65 metres back, a rarity in such an urban area.
A development was proposed in 2021 by Insoho Developments. This project, dubbed "The Winston Collection", was for these houses to be demolished and replaced with townhouses. As the properties are on Churchill Ave, I would assume the "Winston" title was deliberately named, and is not coincidental irony.
