Made a Good Bid on Gold

These old foundations are off the side of a dirt road to some lakes and cottages, and aren't particularly remote. There may be animals but you don't have to stray far from a vehicle.

There are some rusty sharp items and tripping hazards around.

Historic info is sparse, and this did not seem to be a particularly large or important mine, however I was able to determine that production originally began in 1934.

It looks to be another one of those old sites that has been repeatedly drilled since in search of greater finds.

An easy stop on my way through to see some old foundations. Nothing too remarkable but some of the concrete frames these old mine and mill sites had are neat on their own.
