Some abandoned buildings in the village. The first 2 are derelict homes north of town and the last 2 are: the coal fueling tower and train station/water tower.

The third photo is the Washago Coaling Tower, built in 1936. There once were tracks underneath so coal-burning steam locomotives can refuel. Since the last steam engines were used on the CNR in the late 1950's, this sturdy structure has stood disused a long time.
