Sylvan Valley Shack- Echo Bay

13 years later, I can say that this is far more than a shack. While the former farm on this property IS itself, abandoned, the farm on the corner lot owns the field it is in the middle of. The field is active, and many many many things have been salvaged from the former house (collapsed due to a fire that looks like it was 20+ years ago) and from all the bits that surround the "shack" that in actuality looks to be part of a barn or part of an outbuilding. There is a shell of a car and a former beekeeping area as well. The field access for the tractor is the old original driveway of the farm. It's a bit of an oddity as most of the development here is recent (60s and onward) with not much from early 1900s, let alone a stone foundation house that appeared to be framed and sided with wood. Very odd. I'd like to know the actual history here, and may one day figure it out...
