Reuben Heise House

Demolished House in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada

Feb 22 2011

Recent status Demolished
Location # 2433

Located in the community of Oak Ridges within Richmond Hill.

Original framing of the house built circa 1882, over the years (early in the 20th century) there were numerous additions. The house is located at the end of a driving range, keep that in mind if you choose to visit it. Just don(a)t go there if the driving range is open as you will:

  • risk injury to yourself
  • call A LOT of attention to yourself
  • get busted

The house is boarded up, however POE(a)s do exist. I wouldn(a)t encourage entry as this location is visible from neighbours that are close by - not the mention the office for the driving range.

Darkman Update 2014: The only risk here is getting hit by a golf ball, even in the house.

I was hoping for pictures of the upstairs. Was going to go myself but the hole in the floor made me a tad nervous.

Gonna venture to say that everyone who golfs here aims for the one tiny window, and many of them get it.

Terrific shots. I spotted this place last week and planned to return in the future. Thanks for filling in the history and the golf warning.
