Turner House

At this corner sits this once charming century house. It sits on what was once the property of Jonathan Turner as indicated on 1878 Belden Map, but it is more likely that the home belonged to a farm worker as the main farmhouse was located further west. The map indicates another homestead on the same lot, but all lots granted in Markham at the time were provided with an orchard, which stands by the other house.
