About this location

This building was actually 2 log buildings that were attached. The original had rounded logs while the second had hand-hewn timbers. It is believed the buildings were built in and around 1800 and may have been an original settlers home. the landowner was going to burn it and bury it, but a company was found that dismantled it and has it stored. the building was replace with a new pretty big house.

Nice find. Funny how at some point in time someone thought that covering the Log exterior with those faux brick sheets looked "good". And I agree with robertreid, nice to see that it was saved.
