About this location

In 1853, James Leigh and John Jennings in the area now known as Pontypool, naming it after a town in Wales. By 1865, at least one mill had been built by Jennings, who was the sawyer, and was being operated by Leigh. The community was known at the time as Jenning(a)s Mills.

The mill sits on private property across the pond from the road.

No problem ... just keep going past the grain elevator and it's on the right hand side, just before the edge of town. :)
