Meeting Place on George

Long abandoned meeting hall. Sits on George Street, behind the Best Western. This place has been empty as long as I can remember, not sure what it was ever used for, hoping to find out once our local museum is open again.
General appearance is that of a some type of meeting hall. There is currently a dumpster parked out front, which generally means a quick demise. Around back of the building I found a matress with a tarp, and loads of garbage, mostly empty bottles, transients anyone?
The building is well-boarded up, no current point of entry.
