Demolished House in East Gwillimbury, Ontario, Canada

Once beautiful and productive farm, with ancient farmhouse, large barn and at least three outbuildings.

I have been watching this place for several months, waiting for the right opportunity to strike. Not sure how long it has been abandoned, but the Miller Paving construction office has set up shop at the end of the driveway.

The house itself is impressive, well built and still solid. Some of the choices of interior colours leave a lot to be desired, but the woodwork is outstanding. Checked out the barn and didnt see anything spectacluar, never had a chance to look through the other buildings.

Very cool! It's rather ornate in comparison to the typical block pulleys I see in old barns!

That round window is the coolest thing.

Yes, the pulley was likely used for hauling hay bails into the barn.
