This small woodlot once held the hopes and dreams of the new pioneers to this area. The Knox Presbyterian Church once stood here from 1837 to 1937. The woodlot measures approximately twenty by sixty metres. A cairn now marks the spot, and a single grave marker lies in pieces on the ground. The name on the marker is Gibbon, who died in 1849. I am certain other graves must be present, from the 100 years this church flourished in this rural farming community. Very overgrown, little trace remains.

Many places now use a specific type of slow-grow grass, I have seen it used mostly in cemeteries, but also on lawns and parks.
