About this location

The manufacturing part of the little folks furniture factory :)

Thanks for ground state for this information: Only the walls remain of the old Kiddie Kar Factory, a part of Elora(a)s industrial past. They now rise out of the Elora Gorge Park(a)s forested hiking trails. Completely accessible - no fences. This Elora building was used as the location for the furniture factory in the 1979 movie "An American Christmas Carol" starring Henry Winkler.

There is noticeable progress here now. New windows are being installed on the former Kiddie Kar factory.

Yes you are correct ccc.. I think they're restoring part of it, like the Little Folks Furniture Factory, and a new pedestrian skybridge across the river.. There'a a zip-line across the gorge now too..

We visited this site yesterday. There is now construction fence around the open side of the site, so the interior is not visible or accessible.

Construction has now started here in preparation for developing and restoring this site.

Plus the info in the description is incorrect, I believe. The bottom paragraph applies to the gutted stone building nearby in the woods. What a clusterf**k. There is most certainly fencing on this building.
