An old shut down camp ground located beside Highway 17. I remember this place when I was a kid and I really wish I could find a picture from when it was open. There used to be all sorts of crazy stuff on the front lawn, I'll never forget the gigantic pink whale laying in the middle of the lawn. It was one of those crappy campgrounds that has a bunch of random junk scattered around as though it will somehow distract you from the fact that the campground itself is in a really bad spot and there is nothing to do but watch traffic and trains go by. All the old camp sites are still clear and there were a few tire tracks in some of them. The place is in some pretty rough shape, the ceiling is falling in and the floor felt pretty soft in a few spots, there is a quite a bit of stuff outside around what I would call the maintenance building and there's an outdoor stage. If you find your way around this place be really careful around the stage as behind it there is an open well, there is a railroad tie across it but that's about it.

yeah, its pretty bad in a few spots lots of mold starting to come up where the roof has been leaking and a few soft spots on the floor too. Felt like some of the walls around the crappier windows were getting soft too.
I saw this place yesterday on the way home the Terrace Bay Drag Races...it's a good one, but the interior was pretty disgusting in some places
it's a 60's something Rambler, Looking at some pictures I would hazard a guess at 64, I would also go with the 82 Eagle but I'm personally a big fan of my '01 silverado with rusted out rocker panels and the rusty spare rim on the front end
I'd guess late 60's. Rambler wasn't a bad car. I'd rather go with the '82 Eagle 4x4 tho, lol.
Some great shots in this gallery! Love the macros. Too bad the damn trout was gone!
