Morningstar Mill was built in 1872 by Robert Chapell . The Mill was abandoned in 1933 dew to lack of water power and fires . It became a museum in 1962 .The Mill was later rebuilt in 1992 with original machinery and the grinding stone . This Mill produces ground flour with the entire Kernal of the Wheat including the Wheat Germ which is lost in modern processing .

I mistakenly posted that a long time ago under St. Catharines. Funny, I even mentioned 'City of Thorold' in the description, but somehow got it wrong. My mistake - they should actually be merged here.

the other Morningstar Mill is a gallery not a location .the location is Morningstar Mine .
