This is a old forgotten tunnel going under some rail tracks , over shadowed by a more famous Blue Ghost tunnel not very far to the south . This forgotten tunnel is mostly used by the wild life in the area to get from one side of the tracks to the other .The last pic i scared a fox and cut him off from his escape route to the tunnel so he had to go up the hill and over the tracks.

Yes it is closed what i did was go to Taylor Rd go and take the road that leads to Walker Industries then park at there gateway take the path to the tracks then walk down to the old train bridge after that your on your own .Its a great explore you don't know where your going to end up .It was my first time and i enjoyed it !!
thanks. just read that the haulage road is closed. That means hiking down there in the rain tomorrow. that's gonna suck.
Bad memories of this place ha ha. Killed my battery parking out here once with a gal about 18 years ago. Wasn't pretty - we had to hike to the security office of GM and call for a boost.
I always wondered how many teens visited this spot and thought they had found the Blue Ghost Tunnel.
The map is accurate and if you want to go to the Blue Ghost tunnel go walk down the gravel road "Seaway Haulage Rd" past the train bridge .You will see the entrance to the top painted on the guard rail .
how accurate is your map? I may go there this weekend. And is there an entry on this site for the blue tunnel? I know I've seen it somewhere...may even have it bookmarked.

Heather, I don't believe the tunnel is closed, just the road.
