Kent Tavern

I live a couple blocks from this location and know of it very well. The Kent Tavern was the last strip club in Wallaceburg and furthermore the last bar on Wallace Street in the infamous southside of town.This bar was notorious for being the sleaziest joint around. Closed down in 2008 or 09 after they found a corpse in one of the rooms upstairs. Then it suffered a small fire, shes been locked up tight again till now. I visted this stinkhole when it was open and it wasn't a very pleasent place, Can't imagine its gotten much better but heres to hoping. While technically this place is for sale or development as you can see in the one pic but the building is beyond help unfortunatly, zoned improperly for redevelopment and in a dead part of town, who can tell how long it'll sit before its deemed an eyesore and torn down like its neighbours down the road were a few years back when i was younger.
