From OAP and Ground State: We recently pulled in here and found one of Hamilton's true WTF locations. This house was the site of the Eternal Spring United Church, but don't let the astuteness of the name confuse you. It was more like a cult; little more than a fly-by-night collection of 'worshippers' who had so little funds at their disposal that they had a framed portrait of some import guy made up of little pieces of his face printed on 8X14 paper, taped together, and framed. Their chairs still scatter a back-room in the house - what the cult called "The Gathering Place". In their bid to find a place of worship, they rented out this absolute home buyer's NIGHTMARE. They were doomed to find another location - the house would make Holmes On Homes have a heart-attack. In retrospect, the name of the builder would be nice to know, because the company should be avoided at any and all cost. Eternal Spring went on to move "The Gathering Place" to Westdale Church, renting out space weekly in the basement. Now, their website still features this house on the main page and hasn't been updated since 2004.

Original post from vivalarevolution: Here is a abandoned house that i think used to be a church of sorts. its a cool looking property and the house is sealed up pretty well. there is i squirrel up in the tree watching the property so be careful he doesn't see you :) . there is also some sort of table made of tiles out back of the house that i cant figure out what its meant for. possibly sacrafices

When I stopped in here last year the neighbor was out and about and got a good look at me, so I didn't stick around.

This was a house at one point in its early life but it got changed to a church about 6 yrs ago if i am not mistaken. Not sure what the name of the church was. Not many people went to this church so i am guessing this is why it is now an abandonment.
