Still Standing in Dale

This is in the old village called "Dale". Dale's post office in the 1800's was located across the street from this building at the NE corner of Dale/ Hwy 28. The school was on the S. side of Dale Rd. just E. of the 4 corners. Most of its homes existed on the SW side of the 4 corners on Hwy. 28. The Port Hope/ Midland Railway came through between the Ganny River and Hwy. 28.

LOL!! How funny, as I drove by this home yesterday and wondered if u knew about it. Sure enough here are the photos one day later..Too funny!!! I will add this under Northumberland.
