About this location
Much of this village in the former Hope Township (Lot 6-7, Concession 6) had vanished by 1900. There were a dozen homes, a church, a cemetery and of course a mill at the tributary headwaters of the Ganaraska River. The mill operated here from 1881-1895. Only the cemetery and 3 century homes remain. It is not marked on maps, nor is it marked with signage. I am doing my best to get it marked again on road maps.
