Old Southampton Cemetery

Original cemetary in Southampton which in 1978 began to erode. Stories are told of coffins floating down the river which had to be replanted in the new Southampton Cemetary. It's starting to become very overgrown and there is poison ivy so watch out. Some of the coffins are still in the ground but moved with the erosion activity. Only gravesites which were claimed by family members were replanted.
