On the edge of Rosedale where all the big boys live sits this little munchkin of an abandoned house, shadowed by the monstrous houses of the area. Hard to believe that such a pristine lot could sit unwanted since at least 2011 in this area as google earth shows it boarded even then.
Backing on to a beautiful ravine and bike paths, I walked around back to the basement side and literally barely touched a board and it fell to the ground, releasing the most horrid moldy stench I have ever smelled.
Normally I would jump in without a thought but with the terrible conditions as well as zero chance of any light I passed.
Not sure if the upstairs hold anything worth the torture....be my guest.

I read that it was already abandoned in 2008, but looking at the pictures I would say it was well before that. The pink tile wall in the bathroom has to be from the 60's.
Haha, I was fine with the respirator. Was more concerned about the squishy floors caving in on me. Filth everywhere! Didn't stay long as I had a sudden urge to shower!
I don't think I've ever seen smell with my eyes the way I did looking at miche's pics
Yup...P100. Invested in one last week. Don't particularly want lung cancer. My smoking can do that job. Yeah, going to post the pics now. Easy in and very secluded with the ravine out back and the bridge on the side.
P100 I hope? Hopefully leaving that board off helped a bit. Did you get any pics?
Crazy how beautiful the land is (pretty obvious since its in Rosedale). This isn't too far from where I live so decided to take a look. Thanks for the heads up about the stench...came prepared. The floors upstairs look really wishy-washy so I didn't venture too far. Thanks for posting this location. Interesting!
I looked at the pictures before reading your write up, I was wondering why you didn't go in when you saw the opportunity.

The munchkin is no more, it’s been demolished and replaced by another monster of a house.
