About this location
Very old farm with a mish-mash of outbuildings and decrepit farmhouse. Seems everywhere you go in this place there are scattered vegetable baskets, here there and everywhere. Thus the name basketcase.
I was certain this location was already posted in the database, but I have had no luck tracking it down.
Looks like it was a party place at one time, with graffiti and remnants of vandalism throughout the house. Well-worn paths in the surrounding vegetation from the local critters who now call this home. Watch carefully in the tall grass for abandoned farm equipment and other metal hazards.

"In 1798 (Benedict) Arnold was granted 13,400 acres and exempted from the normal condition that he live on the land himself. In fact, Arnold himself never set foot on this land, but wanted it to pass on to his children. These land grants were in the townships of Gwillimbury East and Gwillimbury North in Simcoe County, Ontario."
Awesome little property, I could just feel the pioneers working on establishing their selves here.
