Yes there are a lot of places off the beaten path, but usually that's what keeps them from being destroyed. I like the picture of the chair in the doorway (Derelict 358) - I've seen a few abandoned houses with one or two bits of furniture inside and I always wonder about people who pack up and abandon a house and leave that one piece of furniture behind. It's almost like a memorial, to show

Where is the best place to enter the factory ?
don • 15 years ago
this one sure was. Im actually gonna try and find the owner of the place, and see if they know any history. its just weird, cuz its such a nice property, and could be again with a few nails, drywall, an ass-load of paint, and a few light bulbs. (oh, maybe a little garden outside the kitchen, lol)

Pix turned out great. Good find.
Great find. There are so many places that are far off the beaten path.

Sorry about the pictures, the file names were to long, so I have to reupload them once I get home. Sorry for the inconvience.
i would love to go there, always wanted to go into an abandoned hospital/asylum.

good find a little creepy with all the decay and angled floors but were able to to go upstairs , also got some pics of the basement . when we tried to enter the front of the house we could hear alot of scratching so watch out for raccoons.

such a cool place. wish i lived closer to visit it myself. it's always amazed me how much stuff is left behind in hospitals when abandoned
The Township/County should do more tp preserve this site.
Great find. Love the cemeteries.
The school is now a private home across from the cemetery, on the NW corner their is an old foundation. The cemetary is at the intersection of concession road 10 and sideroad 25, the old bell and cairn is acroos the street from the cemetery.
Such a simple little grave site. That's why I hadn't included the location.
Nice find. Farmers do rent acreage off each other.

I used to live right around the area, and growing up I always knew that to be the old fire station, I could be wrong, but could be!
