Anyone got any tips for exploring in the winter?

I don’t go in the winter at all. Snow is too high and too cold outside. Also hard as hell to walk through the snow

Wear waterproof shoes or boots

Definitely go! Some of the best places in all of southern Ontario were discovered because of the lack of tire tracks in the driveway over the winter.

Bring extra socks and gloves as well as flashlights incase one gets wet. Layer up. I used to go out daily in the winter but now I spend more time at my computer editing places I have been.
