1. Oak Heights (ghost town)

Oak Heights is a semi-ghost town which is partly in both Trent Hills and Alnwick/Haldimand Townships. It(a)s located just SE of another famed ghost town called Burnley.

Its main downtown section is where the ghost town originally sat in the 1800's on the properties of Finley, Cummings and Porter. These four corners homes are now all gone. The hamlet used to have a cheese factory, 2 churches and a store as well. Other later settlers included the Honey and Mitchell families.

There are now more newer homes further to the east. The hamlet is still marked with signage.

2. Tiny House

Very small house, with not much left behind. It almost looks like a large shed, with a house-like exterior. Be careful of people living behind this little place.

3. St. James Anglican ~ 1863

Historic Little White Church on the Hill opened in 1863, built in the picturesque style. The bell tower encloses a ringer just a bit smaller than the famous Liberty Bell. A pioneer church with pine pews and floors and authentic old stained glass windows, it has served the community since before Confederation.
