From a suggestion from Clay ~ stopped by Arden on a rainy day. Can be classified as feeling like a semi ghost town & definitely a creepy place. Several abandoned places, a large United Church, an old bank building and residential homes scattered on several streets. Will have to return for a walk about when it isn(a)t raining so hard. Considering the condition of the small town - they are installing all new sidewalks throughout??

The Land O Lakes Motel is found along highway 7 in Arden, Ontario.
It consisted of approximately one dozen motel rooms on a single floor building. The office was housed in the larger part of the motel.
Today visitors to the motel will find that some of the original beds and televisions are still there.
In the main office the floor has fallen inwards due to the main structural beam having collapsed.
Demolished as of April 2011
