I had already been walking among the dimly lit warehouse walls for hours before I felt my film camera poking my back through my bag. Of course I needed some film shots from this place, just to scratch my itch. I loaded in Portra 800 and immedietly started shooting. I had already explored what was possible, having checked out the entire boiler and middle building. This gave me the option to push forward and try the main building, or to retrace my steps.
As I stepped out onto the roof of the loading dock, I hoped to whatever is up there that the Sunday guard would prove lazy rather than to do his job. Apparently it worked, and after 10 minutes of feeling exposed to a criminal charge, I figured that there was no way in. This lead me back into the two buildings I had just left to take some photos before making my escape. With dried suds on my boots and a content smile on my face I put my cameras away and basked in the glory of this beautiful building before inevitably leaving it behind.
Maybe I'll go back in the spring.
film is in no particular order because I had to re-scan some of it.
