Sadly, I was unable to find any POEs on this trip, but I had a great time admiring the exterior and looking up its history. It's a beautiful building.

From City of Toronto Archives: 1935. The building appeared to be called the Dearborn Chemical Co. Limited.

From City of Toronto Archives: 1935, the Ideal Aluminum building. The Dearborn Chemical Company is at the very right of the photo. I included this photo because if you travel to this location, you can actually still see the faint remnants of the Ideal Aluminum Products logo on the side of the building. Pretty cool!

From Google Maps: July 2009. Must have been renovated to get a third floor over the last century! Graffiti and boards are visible.

From Google Maps: August 2011. The windows were flipped out for some reason. Also, you can still see the empty patch where the Dearborn Chemical sign was.

Now. The signs in the windows are still there, three years later. Also visible is the only gate without barbed wire.

A barbed-wire gate. There is a stairwell just beyond leading into the building.

Another barbed-wire gate near the back of the building.

A view beyond the locked gate, the only one without barbed wire. One of the windows is broken.
