Dilts Piston Hydraulics Initial Visit

Dilts has been serving southern Ontario since 1988, with a focus on hydraulic systems for things like marine mooring, cargo unloading and crane repairs. This abandoned facility was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time: positioned underneath the Garden City Skyway, it became yet another victim of the 2025 plan to twin the skyway itself.

Any apparent lighting in the gallery photos is just from natural sources: there is no power to the plant and no alarms to contend with.

Perimeter doors are mostly screwed shut, so access is by no means common. However, there is a forested berm along the back of the property that allows for easy scaling of the fence so that access can be evaluated with little investment of effort.
