346 Good Bones

Two houses can be found on this lot. Initially I thought the house on the hill was lived in, and was leery of being seen by people there. Upon closer inspection, I discovered it was also empty. It is by far the more picturesque of the two, with a gorgeous unobstructed backyard view of the escarpment. 2 bedrooms upstairs have double french doors which open to this view. This house is on the same lot as location #10084.

***** added by Nbraz83, May 2017 **************** [b]Second House ([/b]up on the hill[b])[/b] It's appealing pool, pump house and horseshoe shaped driveway reminds this very well was a glorious house in it's day. The pool, filled almost to the brim with water had not been filled in alike most locations I've come across. The pump house however is in a state of decay. Lack of roof, and remaining walls are all that's recognizable from what it once was.

The porch seemed recently painted, i mean within the last ten years if that helps gauge it's time of closure. A modern-esc mat was still at the top of the stairs leading to the previously used front door.

Never got the chance to explore into this one, the cellar stairs were showing water so basement entry was out. The foundation itself of this one was more intact than the house below, and looked to be lived in many years after than the other one.

Once again, like many locations the owner still maintains the lawn, and a newer riding lawn mower was in the lower barn, and a newer hose and reel in the upper shed.

I could assume that the owner is the same in which owns the surrounding fields, and has just left these to decay. Hopefully when its a little lighter and not raining i'll go back and tackle the interior of the upper house.
