About this location
This is a collapsed pioneer homestead in Conmee Township. A large main building has dovetail corners and crude windows, the roof has collapsed but six feet of walls still standing. There is an overturned couch is inside this main building. The couch has not decayed much and suspiciously seems decades newer than anything else around. There are several smaller outbuildings on what was once cultivated field overlooking a low-lying swampy area. Old fence posts stand around an area where livestock was kept, there may still be barbed wire on the ground beneath the long grass. There is no fire number or anything other than a grown-in driveway. This property has been abandoned for decades.
