Food for a Friend

The former Aimee (friend) restaurant and tavern (and gas station and motel) along Hwy 17 in the post-apocalyptic and abandoned industrial area west of Hawkesbury. This used to be the main route between Ottawa and Montreal and for fellow "old highway" enthusiasts, parts of old Hwy 17 are extraordinary. Good practice for my Rte 66 "Bucket-list" trip next year. The site itself is for sale. (and has been for quite some time)
