One of the two houses on this property was home to Simcoe Engineering. Judging by what I saw, the other appears to have been a real estate office. Simcoe has since moved into a much more modern facility. leaving the structures to slowly waste away. A proposed condo development seems to have fallen through, given the largely overgrown grounds.

Behind the two main structures is a small shed that has been divided in half, perhaps one half for each building. Behind the shed is an interesting and strange tree-fall. I couldn't resist snapping this one!

Egress is easy, although there is a lot of broken glass and other sharp debris, so be careful when you're walking around. In some areas, the smell of mold is quite strong, and the paint is badly peeled throughout. In the basement of one building, I found a large blue object with what looks like 4 vents on one end. I have no idea what it was used for, but it's very unusual.

All in all, an interesting foray.

UPDATE

On May 24, a fire broke out in one of the buildings, effectively gutting it. It looks like the Simcoe Engineering building is still intact. If you are exploring this location, be aware of the additional hazards.
