From mattgrant1, June 2014:

Jeremiah's field was home to Joe Barth who donated the 100 acre property in 1981 to The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre. They planned to use the land for helping new immigrants to Canada but due to struggling financials had to sell the land in 2006. The property, consisting of the house, barn, and silo has been abandoned for 33 years.

This property is now demolished.

Hey guys, just an update that the barn is gone. There's a CAT excavator out in front of it right now. I'm going to upload some pics from today's outing, but the house is almost demolished. I suspect in a week or so it'll be gone, so visit while you can.

There's a LFP story on this property today. It looks like somebody has put a huge hole in one of the walls that wasn't present when I visited 2-3 years ago. Unfortunate.

Went and saw this place on the weekend. What a great property. To bad that it is decaying so much, but since there are no windows left and people seem to be using it for paint ball targets, not sure how long it will be around

I was there earlier in the week, and am going back soon. Lots of stuff to see, you just can't do it in one trip. It's also clearly been a huge dumping site, mainly for couches and newspapers. ...Don't forget to check out the chicken coop lined with "jeff lang" campaign posters and the one room of the house that was demolished. There is some of the original hardwood flooring left there, mixed in wi

Place was crawling with wasps last October when I visited but I was so into taking pics I didn't know I was stung until afterwards when a friend pointed it out..! The place was humming with yellowjackets.

This building is still there. Interesting place, a lot of different areas, a couple sheds, the barn & the house. Will probably make a second trip as the sun was going when we arrived. also we were eaten alive by mosquitoes haha.
