Fletcher Creek is amazingly beautiful. I had gone for years and years and never knew there really was a creek until I walked the whole path from the lot off the Concession. It wasnt too long of a walk but it was decent. A bit hilly but nothing killer. I always saw the ruins but never SAW the ruins. Until that time I saw the creek for the first time, I had ended up right in the thick of them searching for a geocache (And its still there BTW). The next time I was there was with Pikaswed420 and my mom. And I said SEEYA to my mom and we went and climbed the blocks and saw it was a rail. Of what kind? Maybe a cart. Dont look like it can take much weight. Even in its day Im not sure. Whatever ran on it, Im fairly certian it would have moved rocks taken out. Interesting. I wonder what all the other blocks were holding at one time. The trail thru the quarry part has many signs. The place is a wildlife hotspot. There is also a rock in the woods with a plaque and a poem on it called ''McLarens Rock". It exists. I havve yet to find it. Second article related.
