About this location

I believe this has been demolished for a few years now, but back in 2019, on December 15th I shot the outbuildings and then Christmas Eve I was visiting some family and made a random unplanned stop here. I shot the outbuildings as poorly as the house. No exteriors of some outbuildings with interior photos. No front exterior of the house. It was decrepit, and run down. And a fire victim. But it had alot of olde patterns on the walls and floors. It was a thrill as it was so easy to access. There was a youtube video I came across after raiding this place, that was the same house. I am surprised it wasnt on here EDIT: It was on here, and this doesn't surprise me but it was blank apparently as it was easy to see and easy to tell what it was. Also on a fairly busy road. Not a great place to park, so maybe that is why some essential shots are AWOL. They could have been corrupted as this is from a recovered harddrive. Oh well. Oh yes, may be I can rearrange the corrupted front exterior of the house…

This may have started to kick off my love for Fire Victims, as they are. It was for sure a victim of fire, but what caused that fire, Ive no idea. I shot this in 2019 and had wanted to go back. Once I actually thought about it two years later, this farm was gone and demolished. I think that it was gone by mid 2021. Editing such an old set I noticed that I must have been overly cautious at the time I shot this as I didnt venture too far on the second floor that was the most damaged. I also was still using Automatic mode as the flash was shot in the day. I RARLEY use a flash with natural light. All in the “Kit Lens” era for me as well.

2019 X-MAS Eve

This was almost around the time I could say I had a “focus” in photography. I poorly shot the outbuildings and poorly shot the house, but I still find it interesting as its so different than how I sho...
