Located at 347 Greenwich Street.
In 1844, a farmer named Daniel Massey turned over management of his Grafton area farm to his son Hart in order that he could devote all of his time working on automated equipment to make farming easier. Mr. Massey worked on projects in his small farmer(a)s workshop. Three years later he opened his own agricultural implement company in Newcastle, Ontario.
Over time the business grew. In the late 1880(a)s his largest competitor was the A. Harris Company in Brantford. The competition was so fierce that, in 1891 they merged thus creating the Massey-Harris Company.
The Massey-Harris Company dealt with agricultural equipment. They merged with Harry Ferguson, the developer of the Ferguson system, in 1953. The merger would allow tractors to run more efficiently.
By 1899, the Massey-Harris Company built a large complex to produce agricultural implements for use around the world. Their office was housed at 915 King Street West and the factory stood on Liberty Street.
Originally consisted of three properties located at 22 Mohawk Street (7.5 acres), 66 Mohawk Street (15.9 acres), and 347 Greenwich Street (28.3 acres).
Note: While exploring this location encountered a person walking towards me, but I left before I could determine who they were. There is supposedly heavy security here.

I cant tell you how great it is to see these photos. I moved to Brantford just south of this location about 14 months ago only to see all of these buildings raised to the ground and swept away. It's sad really but great that you captured these images.
Decided to dump the 40 pics I uploaded recently and re-upload a selection with edits, more to come as I have time to edit.
Wow....they sure aren't wasting any time! Too bad, never got to see this place. Thanks for the updates riddim.
So I've reached my max allowed uploaded images so here are a few taken today of the demolition that has begun. http://imageshack.us/a/img547/5197/img8513m.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img27/4057/img8514c.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img819/4439/img8516i.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img827/5363/img8517f.jpg
