In the summertime, there are quite a lot of bugs and plants that can block your path to it, along with construction going on as of right now, also blocking the path to the bridge.
This bridge used to be the way across from 8th line to the QEW, crossing over Joshua Creek in Oakville. On a map of oakville in 1954, you can see the bridge already there, meaning that it was constructed sometime in the early 50's or even early 40's, when this area began to be developed. By the 1990's it was no longer on maps, so it was probably left abandoned sometime in the 80's, circumvented by ford drive which goes around where the old southern portion of 8th line would have been (the ford plant now covers the land). It's not much now, but could have been quite important back then considering how it had two lanes in a rural area along with a sidewalk. There was also a house and a barn next to the bridge, documented on ominous, but it was demolished in 2011.
This is a two lane bridge which crosses over Joshua creek, with a sidewalk on the sides of the lanes. It is currently covered (summertime) with plants and vegetation, and full of vandalism. It is quite hidden in the trees as nature is reclaiming the land, and in the summertime you may have trouble finding it.
