About this location

You see the strangest things on the back roads of Ontario. Found this gem well out of its comfort zone, along the rugged Kenneway Road. This is summer road only, a snowmobile trail in the winter months.

At first I thought it was a misplaced streetcar, but the rubber tires indicate it was at one time a TTC bus.

The location is approximate, but it is definitely along this stretch of road, you can(a)t miss it.

I remember fondly being in scouts and visiting this old bus! Before the scout camp got shut down on Two Islands Lake. It was a running joke that it was called “Al’s Diner” and we were told before we went there that it was a miniature diner.

This part of the Kenneway Road does not meet up with the section that has the Kenneway ghost town. It has been reclaimed by nature, much like the Victoria Road north of Uphill.
