About this location

These are photos of what is left of the Ingersoll train station. As you can see, it has been left to rot. I can remember it being in use back in the '70's. I'm not sure how long it has been out of service.

They should move it and turn it into a diner or souvenir shop or something. Shame to demolish it. I think brampton repurposed a couple of their's..

Rumour has it, the train station will be demolished soon. All openings have been boarded up with steel grates over top. If you're a pole vaulter with good aim, then access through the roof may be possible.

This station was built in 1889 for the Grand Trunk Railway , designs by Joseph Hobson the chief engineer of the Great Western Division . Closed around `78 or later , borded up and abandoned in favour of a more modern passenger shelter a few meters down the line built sometime in the `80`s.
