Hazards of Robson Lang Leathers

Sharp glass and metal, Businesses and houses around have been known to call the cops, Animals and insects as its wide open. Fallen ceiling on the second floor has exposed fiberglass insulation that blows around in the building. Roof leaks and floods some floors. Neighbors can see clear inside at some spots. Fence surrounds the entire property, but there is a constant roation of people and holes get made again.

Leather tanning factory. Closed in 1986.

FROM MATCHA: I'm uploading these photos two years too late, but I finally took the plunge and explored this factory back in 2019. Getting in was like nothing. The fence from the plaza where Stamp was had its lock missing and you could just walk on through and explore. I remember the last time I had attempted there was a security guard who would lock and unlock the fence closest to Stamp's plaza, but you could still get through on the side closest to the overpass. I'm not sure about it's current state in 2021. (ishootthings adds the state in 2021 is vacant and abandoned. M-T. Rattlecanners paradise)

November 2021: There are two homeless persons actively squatting on the third floor. I (DAExplores) ran into one of them, he was fairly kind, and we exchanged greetings. He didn't seem to mind that we were there, and we got out safely. Be cautious visiting here.

Id say 50s-60s. It's cinderblock mainly. From what my parents tell me, it's been there thier whole life. But from its construction and lack of any listing on any city paperwork, as even being of significance, it's harder to see older than 70 years old. Robson Lang had another building in what was then, Berlin, that has now been repurposed into mixed use, but mainly office space from what I know. Huge thing at Joseph & Francis. This now abandoned one seems to have been acquired in a early 60s merger.

Visited this place yesterday, many points of entry and no security could be seen. Definitely has squatters and there’s holes, rocks and other hazards everywhere. The roof is also leaking lol. One of the rooms also has 2 motorcycles that were recently burnt in there😬

place is now inaccessible, with new security and the place being boarded due to the spot becoming popular.

I can confirm that this place no longer has squatters but js mostly teen looking around or smoking up, I live a few roads down from the factory and it’s always my hangout spot and right next to it the bridge I like to chill there a lot too, it’s really not as scary but there are pentagrams and people did do rituals there.

As of 2021 some of the floors have some sketchy holes and cracks in them, and I have also been followed and watched by some individuals who squat here. They didn't do anything once they figured out I was just exploring but gave me a bit of anxiety.
