Carmichael Pioneer Cemetery

A nicely renovated Pioneer cemetery by one of the families relatives buried here. Channel bracing on the sides of broken headstones would have been my choice of repair, instead of steel bars and bolts. A lot of the time you can read the dates and piece together some of these settlers last days ; like one young mother here died giving birth[internal bleeding, probably] and then her child living only 14 days later. Then you have this poor young husband left to go it alone.
