Reinhart Auctions, Still active but at a new location, unsure about the location of the auctions but the trailer sales moved north on hwy 10 near king. 2 houses and several barns remain all empty and boarded up on the property. i found this article on the the website:

Reinhart auctions is a family-run business established in 1952 by Herb and Edna Reinhart. The Reinhart's developed their auction business as an extension of another venture, Brampton Livestock Exchange. The auction barn is currently operated by Don and Doris Reinhart, who have been at the helm since 1969.

Don Reinhart began his career as a professional auctioneer in 1964. In 1989 he was named the Ontario Auctioneer Champion in the Experienced division.

Reinhart Auctions is located in the North end of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. A bonded and insured auction facility, Reinhart Auctions is licensed and has been in business since 1952

(Mind the crappy pictures) - I didn't find much that was interesting here. The one room upstairs in what looked like it was a cafeteria was pretty neat, but the graffiti is what gave it character, for once.

I think its all going to be torn down to make way for more houses or retail. :-(

It was a neat place back in the day..back when this was considered 'the boonies' and it was all just open fields. The village of Snelgrove. We used to go with my folks when we were kids and always looked forward to going and seeing the animals. It was a happenin busy place. It was also a large flea market where everyone had booths inside and outside as well as a cattle swap/auction.
